Ayache Bouakaz a obtenu son doctorat en acoustique \u00e0 l\u2019Institut National des Sciences Appliqu\u00e9es (INSA) de Lyon en 1996. Apr\u00e8s avoir occup\u00e9 un poste de recherche principal au Centre M\u00e9dical Erasmus \u00e0 Rotterdam, aux Pays-Bas o\u00f9 ses recherches se sont concentr\u00e9es sur l\u2019imagerie ultrasonore, les agents de contraste ultrasonore et la conception de transducteurs, il a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 en 2004 le poste de charg\u00e9 de recherche \u00e0 l\u2019Inserm de Tours. Depuis 2009, il occupe le poste de Directeur de Recherche au sein de l\u2019unit\u00e9 Inserm Imagerie et Cerveau (iBrain) o\u00f9 il d\u00e9veloppe et valide des technologies et m\u00e9thodologies (Ultrasons, TEP, IRM) d\u00e9di\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019imagerie et \u00e0 la th\u00e9rapie par ultrasons. Ayache Bouakaz est \u00e9galement professeur invit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Jiaotong de Xi\u2019an en Chine. De plus, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 membre \u00e9lu du Conseil d\u2019Administration de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Internationale des Ultrasons Th\u00e9rapeutiques de 2017 \u00e0 2019.<\/p>\n
