Structuring and reinforcing regional expertise in cosmetics in 3 phases<\/h1>\n

Since its creation in 2015, Cosm\u00e9tosciences has supported a dynamic of research and innovation in cosmetics.
Funded by the Centre-Val de Loire region, Cosm\u00e9tosciences is backed by the University of Orl\u00e9ans in partnership with the University of Tours, the CNRS, the competitiveness cluster Cosmetic Valley, which brings together private players in the cosmetics sector and Le Studium, an institute for advanced studies that assists with international research exchanges.<\/p>\n

Creation of the Cosm\u00e9toSciences programme<\/h2>\n

In 2015, the Centre-Val de Loire region launched its Research & Development Ambition (ARD) programme and the Cosm\u00e9tosciences programme was created with the aim of structuring the cosmetics research ecosystem <\/strong>in the region and building a training, innovation and research partnership dynamic between academics and manufacturers<\/strong>, to support the development of the perfumery and cosmetics sector based on a common thread leading from plants to healthy skin.<\/p>\n

This innovation dynamic has been strengthened with the development of research topics and the funding of collaborative projects on five research topics: Cosmetopoeia and sustainable cosmetics; Glycosciences; Innovation in formulation; Innovation in cell tools; Technological innovation. These topics have made it possible to consolidate established partnerships<\/strong> and to expand the programme by incorporating new regional, national and international partnerships.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This phase also allowed the creation of We Lab Cosmetic<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
