In 2020, the Centre-Val de Loire region reconfirmed its financial support within the framework of the ARD Cosmétosciences programme. With more than EUR 9M already invested to fund more than 30 research projects applicable to the cosmetics sector, the region supports the work of laboratories of the universities and the CNRS in its territory on topics ranging from the processing and use of plants in cosmetics to the development of techniques for analysing the product and its interaction with the skin.

Support for cosmetics research from the Centre-Val de Loire region

For this new 2021-2024 schedule, the Cosmétosciences programme aspires to become a European reference on the subject of applied research in the cosmetics sector. Led by the University of Orléans, in partnership with the University of Tours, the CNRS and Le Studium (an international research association in the Centre-Val de Loire region), it benefits from partnership with Cosmetic Valley.
This new phase of the programme supports, for the next three years, five collaborative projects involving research laboratories and companies, as well as activities to animate and structure the territory’s research dynamics with a view to European collaboration.
